Field Notes

Description:

Small, fiery orange mushroom clusters. Stem height between 1/2- 1-1/2". Small gills.

Habitat:

Slope forest/hardwood area. Found close to trail under Magnolia leaves at Big Thicket National Preserve, Kirby Trail. Marker 20.
