Description:

A very hairy member of the Bombus genus. In the last photos you can see the specimen cleaning its proboscis, an interesting activity.

Habitat:

Found on an old pile of hardcore, which has been successfully colonised by many wild flowers and plants.

Notes:

The first Carder Bee I have ever seen, fantastic insect!
