Field Notes

Description:

Seems like some sort of firefly.

~2 cm long (including antennae).

Mostly black, with bright pink on the underside of its thorax and two stripes of pink and pale yellow on the top of its thorax.

Habitat:

Caught while it was flying through a tennis court. Near trees.

Notes:

Walks and flies fairly slowly.
