Field Notes

Description:

Common and gregarious. Flies to and from roosts in noisy flocks. Adults are all black glossed with green while immatures have white underparts finely streaked with black. Both adults and immatures have blood red eyes.

Habitat:

spotted flying around antennas, cables, street lightings and trees around the city

Notes:

seen on lowland areas from second growth to cities
