Field Notes

Description:

This was a sturdy fly with a metallic green thorax and abdomen. The frons was a deep orange and the face yellow. Post orbital stripes were a pale yellow. <br> The thorax had four longitudinal white stripes and two white spots. Abdominal segments had white spots.

Habitat:

Spotted feeding on a Kunzea plant in a reserve.

Notes:
