Description:

Family: Noctuidae, Subfamily: Noctuinae, Tribe: Noctuini (Darts) Underwing is in the name, but not an Underwing moth. Length: 30-35 mm. FW varies from pale tan to sooty brown. Reniform spot is filled with gray and black scales. Black subapical patch is always present. HW is golden yellow with black terminal band. Hosts: Various grasses and low plants. Found in grass area near light sources in the morning.

Habitat:

Grasses, fields and meadows. Came near light source.
