Description:
This larva can also be known as the army green moth larva. The newly hatched larva is about three to four millimeters in length. As they get older their bodies change in color. Their newborn bodies are blue. Their bodies change to green as they grow. They have false eyes, meaning they have two spots in the forefront of their bodies, which are like eyes when you see them from far or near.
Habitat:
Oleander Hawk-Moth Caterpillars are native to Asia and Africa.
Notes:
The caterpillars feed mainly on oleander (Nerium oleander) leaves, a highly toxic plant, and the caterpillars are immune to it.
