Thanks! I looked it up a while back in my giant caterpillar book but didn't mark the page. Now I need to search all over again. :-(
Looks much like some members of the Acronicta genus of moths. This definitely is a moth caterpillar, so you are more than welcome to add it to the "Moths of the World Mission."
