Thanks lani & Jemma. I've no idea what the host plant is or was as it was just a dried twig. I found them on the dge of our culvert which has got a few inches of water in it at the moment.
these look like leaf beetle eggs to me. What is the name of the host plant? Is there a body of water nearby?
They look like ladybug eggs to me.
