Description:

An adult typically grows up 6-9 m. tall. The bark is dark and smooth. It's flowers are a light pink, and they appear from spring to early summer. It bears a fruit, flat pea like pods. It's classification is the following: Kingdom: Plantae

Species: C. canadensis

Habitat:

Red bud trees are native to North America, and thrive in habitats with moist and well draining soil. They seem to adapt well to many different climates, due to their wide distribution throughout the United States.
