Description:

Winged grasshopper is about 2.5 inches long. The face is slanted and the body has stripes. The grasshopper flew about 8-10 feet at a maximum height of about 4 feet.

Habitat:

Open field, adjacent to tree area.

Notes:

This picture exhibits the blending in of grasshopper into its environment.
