Field Notes

Description:

Small moth with a brown coloration. Narrow pointed wings. Holds antennae across back. Prominent "nose". This species is sexually dimorphic (males and females look different). Males are blackish with cream colored streaks along the sides.

Habitat:

Suburban yard.

Notes:

Second female of this species I have found. I would love to find a male.
