Field Notes

Description:

Green 5th Instar caterpillar, wavy pattern at head side of the caterpillar, and some markings on its flank. About 2cm in lenght.
Notice different color on different caterpillars. The light green one has just gone from 4th instar to 5th instar.

Habitat:

Our garden on a lime plant. Yishun, Singapore. It has now moved to a more secure location where I manage what leaves they eat :-)

Notes:

First I thought there was 1 4th instar and when I woke up this morning it had changed and I noticed two more on random leaves that I picked of my plant for Nr 1 to eat. 1 other one was a stage 5th instar already and the other one still a 4th instar.
