Description:

Family: Erebidae, Subfamily: Arctiinae, Tribe: Arctiini. Length: 37 mm. Wingspan: 63 mm. A common bright moth with black FW with cream-colored border and stripes along veins. W-shaped ST line touches slightly kinked PM line. AM line meets costa at a right angle. Red/orange HW is boldly marked with large black spots in median and terminal area. Hosts: Low plants including clover, lettuce and plaintain.

Woodlands, meadows, fields and gardens
