Rock Pipit
Anthus petrosus
52.216, -4.35723
Field Notes
Description:
This poor bird had a damaged right foot that looked like it had been caught in something and squashed. He came up fairly close to me, 2 metres to be exact.
Habitat:
Coastal Village, harbour wall
Notes:
Fighting between a Dunnock and a Wren but this is very similar to the photograph of the Dunnock on the RSPB website.
Been told that this is actually Pipit. Thanks Malcolm
