Description:
Lead gray forward wing is marked with bright orange veins and bold creamy spots. Orange thorax has pale yellow lateral stripes. Wingspan 95-155 mm.
Host plants are deciduous trees including ash, butternut, hickory, sycamore and walnut.
Habitat:
Rich mesic woods.
