Field Notes

Description:

I think it is a Skipper butterfly but it is the largest one I've ever seen 4.5 cm long. When It landed next to me I thought it was a large grasshopper that hadn't closed its wings.

Habitat:

At the very top of a mountain at 2,670m of altitude.
