Description:

they are orange fungus they may look pink in the picture but they are real orange in real life I almost forgot to mention the orange fungus is what you make of mushrooms they were all in a group

Hmmmm.... I collect mushrooms regularly and they never seemed like they could be cantharellus. And checking my field guide, I have even more doubts - based on a variety of things. However, next time I see one, I'll pick it and look more closely.
Karen, could they be Cantharellus cinnabarinus or some Cantharellus species ?
Liam, looks like an interesting spotting and I hope you get an ID. Just a note - If this is definitely a fungus, you would have to remove it from "Flowers of North America "mission. :)
I wish I knew. I saw a group of them this year again. Mature they develop a hollow from the cap through the stem and look like a flower
they look like little orange mushrooms but they're neon orange
I've seen singles in Oregon - still waiting for an id
