Description:
Veronica urticifolia is a small plant (20-70 cm) with lilac flowers, found in mountain areas of western Europe. It leaves are reminiscent of that of nettles, hence the common name. Flower < 10 mm.
Habitat:
Shady and wet forest area along a path, alt. 1200 m.
Notes:
Found from 1000 to 2000 meters, in the Alps, Jura , the Auvergne and the Pyrenées . It is found mainly on limestone in moist or shady places (wood, bush, rocks). Flowers from June to August.
