Description:

A fine Mycalesis terminus, one of the most common species of butterfly at this loication. It is found in The Moluccas and Papua (Indonesia), Papua New Guinea and surrounding islands, and in the Cape York peninsula of Australia.

Habitat:

Spotted on sandy ground in a large semi-urban yard & garden next to a severely disturbed remnant patch of forest in the equatorial tropics of northern New Guinea.
