Description:
Variegated Squirrels can generally be identified by their long, bushy but flattened, white-frosted black tail, dark back, and light patch behind the ears. Their belly and underparts are rufous red.
Habitat:
Native to Costa Rica and nearby countries. Found in a woodland area near Monteverde
