Field Notes

Description:

These snails live from 5-7 years and typically range from light to dark brown with stripes on their shells. They are one of the largest terrestrial gastropods.

Habitat:

Native to humid and forest areas (like Hawaii). Found pretty much everywhere where there is water.

Notes:

I’m not sure what those weird tentacles are...I can’t find the head either. Maybe it’s carrying an egg or is sick?
