Field Notes

Description:

A small moth about 5 mm long with pale narrow wings marked with back blotches. The costal margins were a dark brown broken with thin double white markings. The submarginal band of white had black flecks. Antennae were short. Labial palps formed a short snout.

Habitat:

Attracted to bright garden lights on a very warm night.

Notes:

Considered an agricultural pest. Larvae feed on various species of Malvaceae family. <br>
