Field Notes

Habitat:

Found in a small woodland area joining a canal. It was basking on a milkweed leaf.

Notes:

This was the smallest gray tree frog I have seen. I was actually photographing a milkweed leaf beetle and when viewing the picture, saw the frog right behind it. Very small and very well camouflaged.
