Description:
The Churra is a spanish breed of sheep whose milk is very appreciated to make cheese. It is is one of the most primitive of Spain. The Churra race lies mainly in the Castilla region in Spain.
The Churra is a very hardy breed, adapted to the continental climate of the location area, hot, dry summers with long, cold winters.
The Churra breed is a breed of dual-purpose meat and milk, is operated under two commercial objectives "milk production and lamb" or only for "lamb". It has a live temperament, resistant and walker, is able to find food in adverse conditions. Its hardiness and ease of adaptation to the environment are important characteristics.
Habitat:
Spotted close to the mountains at 1200 m. above the sea level.
