Malcolm, subfamily Crambinae, sorry about my spelling mistake in the first comment. The Italian site indeed has only breakdown per genus, but the Crambinae makes for the largest sub-family.
I found only this list for Iberian Crambidae http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_moths_of_the_Iberian_Peninsula_(A-F)#Crambidae there are about 300+ but there is no breakdown for Craminae, or Crambinae. The Italian page also has no mention of Craminae or Crambinae, only Crambus, and only one looks similar, yet it say it is for the whole of Europe but the UK site has many more.
Malcolm, this is a grass moth (Crambidae), sub-family Craminae. This is a large tricky group and and I'm not familiar with the ones from the Iberian peninsula. Here's a thumbnail index for the UK: http://ukmoths.org.uk/thumbnail.php?mode=subf&subf=Crambinae A thumbnail index for Italy is available here: http://www.leps.it/ There must be something similar for Spain...
