Description:

Mold fossil of a brachiopod. The rock measures 47.19 mm (1.85 in) long and 31.73 mm(1.25 in) wide. The fossil measures 17.90 mm (.70 in) long and 19.30 mm (.76 in) wide. This fossil dates to the Devonian Period (416-359.2 million years ago).

Habitat:

Rocky brook (stream) bed. Gully Brook, Willoughby, Ohio, USA.
