Description:

About 1.5 cm long, this moth is grey with black and orange patterns. This is a new species for me. For National Moth Week. Family Geometridae.

Habitat:

Garden lights, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico, 2,200 meters.

Hi Lauren. I've also had a look at your beautiful moth and can't find an exact match either. I will certainly keep looking for you.
Hi Sukanya, Thank you! It sure looks like a Bracca! I can't find an exact match but the orange head makes it look closest to B. matutinata which is Australian. So, I don't know what to think yet.
