Hummingbird hawk-moth foraging on wooly thistle (Cirsium eriophorum).

Habitat:

Mountain meadow on the edge of deciduous woodland.

Thank you Daniele! I think that the photos I've been able to capture are only a small subset of the photos I tried unsuccessfully to capture. And these instances are a small subset of the instances I didn't get to take a picture or even I didn't notice the existence of an animal or a plant.
