Description:
Emerald Moth with a brown fringe and tiny white spots along the lower margins of all 4 wings. The abdomen has 3 large white spots down the dorsal part of the abdomen. The third picture is of a different individual (no piece missing in the wing). They arrived together and may be of the opposite sex. The wing fringe of the second individual is a more pale brown. The 4th and 5th pictures are of an individual photographed in the same place on 17 March 2014. Family Geometridae.
Habitat:
Came to an ultraviolet light in the garden, San Cristobal de Las Casas, 2,200 meters.
