Robby, Yes these are a mixed blessing. While they were introduced as beneficial insects,they devour everything and have taken over the native beetle population. they eat everything from Lacewings to moths to spiders and flies.they overwinter in homes. They are attracted to lighter colors. They stain the walls yellow.
