Field Notes

Habitat:

Along rivers, lowland woods, meadows, and fields.

Notes:

I had never seen one before. When I first spotted it, I thought is was a very worn out or somehow ill bumble bee (there were plenty of bumble bees in the area). It did not move when I took a close up. On inspecting the photo the clubbed antennas and thin yellow legs were not at all bee like.
