Description:

I was thoroughly astonished to find this insect crawling up my moth sheet. The closest body of water is about 50 meters away and I can't imagine an insect like this moving that far! I've narrowed this down to the genus Corixini, but I am having trouble distinguishing further.

Notes:

Lifer, regardless of the species.
