Description:

Pretty big black cricket with red femurs. About 6 cm length.
Flightless.

Habitat:

Spotted in the sand around Horseshoe Bend (Colorado river), in the vicinity of Page, Arizona, USA.

Notes:

Some help with the ID would be greatly appreciated.
