Big puddle after rains. I believe these are the next step from my last spot, the Fairy Shrimp. So weird.

Thanks Keith for the suggestion- a friend of mine took it home to try and raise in a goldfish bowl so the food suggestion will be helpful. There are lots of these in the puddles out here.
If you have a pet store near these eat frozen brine shrimp and bloodworms
I found two of these yesterday just a few miles north of Sonora, near McNeal, AZ. We put them together but the larger one killed the smaller one, much like Japanese fighting fish will do... It's monsoon season here, many transient pools in the mile high desert...
