Field Notes

Description:

Common migrant. Noisy and conspicuous. Very aggressive, preying on large insects, small birds and mammals. Club members have witnessed Brown Shrike preying on bats and mice.

Habitat:

Spotted at our backyard, perching around the trees, communication cables and antennas.

Notes:

All habitats in all elevations
