Description:

Tiger beetles are known for their aggressive predatory behavior and running speed. The Indo-Malayan region has the richest diversity of Tiger beetles in the world.

Habitat:

Photographed this beetle in the semi-evergreen forests of Agumbe in the Western Ghats in India.
