Field Notes

Notes:

You would think this fledgling Robin would be frightened and panicing after it's leap of faith from it's nest. I first spotted it roughly 10-12' away. I knelt down to take photos without stressing it. Within minutes it had hopped closer for better photos, until it was resting against my knee. (Much too close for photos with my 200mm lens) Eventually it hopped away, flapping it's wings. I hope the little one is doing fine.
