Species ID Suggestions

Comments (4)

Weng - it would be very useful if you could find a local expert on bugs and butterflies, who might be able to help us on occasions. This is not the only species from the Philippines to be problematic - just a thought :) DAve
Agree on Amata Wasp Moth, Amata sp. as ID for now, until we are able to get the correct species ID for this ironically, very common moth in the Philippines.
This appears to be a common moth in the Philippines, but not found elsewhere. Several members have attached ID's to this species, but none of them are convincing. We all want to attach a species ID to our spottings, but incorrect ID's just hinder everyone. Can I suggest that you label it amata sp. until a proper verifiable species ID can be found. Dave
