Field Notes

Description:

This lovely and graceful plant is often 1.5 m in height with the central stem being smooth and round. Leaves are gathered in whorls at intervals along the stem. The flowers are white and borne on branched inflorenscences.

Habitat:

I often find these flowers blooming in the edge of grasslands and for a short distance into treelines, but not in forests.
