Description:
It is a small to medium sized moth in the family erebidae. The moths forewings have grey with some stripes on the top. The hindwing has grey with a golden arch. The wings are shaped like a typical erebid/owlet moth.
Habitat:
Semi-urban, Fort Worth, Texas.
Notes:
It is found from central Mexico north to central California, Utah, Wyoming and Nebraska, east to Arkansas and Alabama. the larvae feed on prosopis sp.
