Description:
Spring squill are very typical flowers to be seen in Shetland Islands in June. I have noticed they were in blue and in white purplish. These were seen in Saint Ninians' Island.
I find particular that some flowers have stamens with yellow anthers and other stamens with blue anthers. I don't know what is the physiological meaning of this difference.
