haha boat tailed grackle doesn't look to happy about that otter.
Also I believe the bird is a male Boat-tailed Grackle. Do not usually see any crows at the wetlands
Nothing too exciting I am afraid as to the black bird. The otter was making its way from one water area to another and the bird was stood by the water's edge. When the otter approached the bird took off. I do not believe there was any ill intent from the otter toward the bird. The area these were taken in is a man made wetlands where we have a tremendous number of different birds, bugs, gators, deer and at least 2 otters.... great place to walk and take pictures. Thanks for the interest venus.
hey james, nice spotting. The otter and crow interacting looks cool, could you provide some info into what was going on during that encounter? thanks in advance!
