Description:

Order: Boraginales > Family: Boraginaceae. Native to the southern edges of Mississippi, Georgia and South Carolina to all of peninsular Florida, it usually stands no more than a foot tall but it has a long bloom time and likes it wet, often seen along moist roadsides.
