Description:

TL: 10mm. FW is variably pale tan to reddish brown with crisp dusky lines. Reniform spot is figure eight-shaped. HOSTS: Low plants and crops, including bean, beet, celery, and spinach. (Peterson Field Guide to Moths of Northeastern North America by David Beadle & Seabrooke Leckie)

Habitat:

Attracted to light in pastured area surrounded by woodlands and swamps.
