Description:
Fuchsia inflorescences that attracted lepidopterans and numerous bees. This is a wetland plant that was introduced from Europe in the 19th century for homeopathic and medicinal qualities.
Habitat:
Along a large pond. Invasive (and present) in all states except FL.
