Field Notes

Description:

A type of segmented worm. I was told you can be fined £80,000 for destroying their reefs. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sabellaria_alveolata By looking at the nbngateway site it seems this species is most common on the west coast of Wales and England with not many other recordings elsewhere: http://www.searchnbn.net/interactive/map.jsp?srchSp=NBNSYS0000188452
