Field Notes

Description:

An attractive species because of its large, green and white striped flowers and sepal and the petals combining to form a hood with a coppery cowl. <br> Single flowers form (about 35 mm long and 23 mm wide) on a spike about 150 mm high.

Habitat:

These were seen in a designated flower conservation area of dry sclerophyll eucalyptus woodland. Baluk Willum Flora Reserve.
