Description:

long slender lizard with bright green markings on top; length, including tail, about 25 cm

Habitat:

spotted around the cultivated gardens near the house; "Its natural habitats are Mediterranean-type shrubby vegetation, rocky areas, rocky shores, sandy shores, rural gardens, pastureland, plantations and urban areas." ~wiki

Probably telling me to leave him alone! I was determined to catch him with the camera despite his skittishness. It took several days of attempts.
