Description:

small flower blooms along a thin root that lays on the ground,

Habitat:

tropical rainforest

Notes:

I spotted this on a small side trail off the summit road in Kubah national park. I have never seen a ginger like this before. Very little info is online about this species. I obtained the ID from Craig Williams excellent Gingers of Borneo book.
